New director at dalton
After 43 years at Dalton, Palle Dalgaard Sørensen has decided to retire from his position as Managing Director as of 31 December 2007. Palle is to remain as a member of the Board and will therefore still be a natural part of Dalton. Palle’s resignation marks the end of the generation change, initiated with Dalton’s sale to the Irish building materials company CRH in the spring of 2007.
Our factory manager to date, Laila Rosendal, takes over as Managing Director on 1. January 2008. Laila has been an employee at Dalton for 16 years, which means that she has intimate knowledge of the company and the industry in general.
The change of director will be celebrated at a reception at Dalton on 11 January 2008, when we hope to see customers, partners, business connections and friends of the company.
